At TD Garden in Boston, the Edmonton Oilers extended their strong form with a 3-1 victory over the Boston Bruins on December 18, 2025, improving to 17-12-6 and going 6-1-1 in their last eight games.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 13:38 of the first period, assisted by Connor McDavid.

The Bruins managed only 24 shots, with Zacha's tally their lone response as they fell to 20-15-0.
