2-1 VGK FINAL
VGK SWEEPS AVS 4-0
WINS NHL West Division &
Campbell Bowl Trophy 2026
Las Vegas Golden Knights
Vegas walked into Game 4 with the kind of swagger that only comes from surviving storms and turning them into fuel. Mitch Marner has become the quiet puppeteer of this series — not loud, not flashy, just relentlessly productive, stitching together the transition game that threw Colorado off‑balance. And behind him, Carter Hart settled into that unnerving, playoff‑grade calm.
The first‑period wobble in Game 3 feels like a lifetime ago; since then he’s been a wall with a pulse, reading plays early, swallowing rebounds, and forcing the Avalanche to take the long way around every chance they get.
Vegas won 4-0 by dictating the tempo'erature of the rink. Colorado, meanwhile, wasn't skating with the look of a team expecting to finish the script; they were not reacting to the dogged pace set by Vegas.
Blackwood inherited the most unforgiving assignment in hockey: keep your team alive while the building is roaring for the kill. Nathan MacKinnon wasn't generating danger every time he touched the puck.
Vegas had Carter Hart to close down those isolated moments in a big way all four games straight in Round 3. VGK are West Division President's Cup winners.
This was a sweep before the Avalanche even caught their breath.
The 2026 Presidents’ Trophy winner was the Colorado Avalanche.
They finished the regular season 55‑16‑11 for 121 points, the top record in the NHL.
